Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
The Meteorological Department has reported that rain continues to pour in various parts of West Bengal, including Kolkata. As of 3 a.m., a rainfall of 0.3 mm has been recorded.
The sky remains cloudy, and the rain is expected to persist throughout the day in Kolkata, as well as in Howrah, Hooghly, North South 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Purulia, and Bankura.
On Sunday, Kolkata experienced a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature dropped to 33.7 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below normal.
In North Bengal, including Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, and Darjeeling, light rains have contributed to pleasant weather conditions. This pattern of weather is expected to continue into the next week.
